Posing Tips & Tricks For Adult Content Creators

It is SO easy to fall into the same pose every time you take a picture. I mean, you know your best angles! But when you are a content creator it is important to switch it up occasionally so people don’t get bored. Here are some tips and things to keep in mind while in front of the camera.

  1. Find your theme.

Finding your theme does not have to mean turning into a niche fetish account, but you should know what angle you want to play up to your customers. This will influence the poses you should pull, the editing you do, and really overall how you talk to your subscribers. Some common examples are:

a. Dominant vs. submissive. Domination usually goes with power-poses and darker lighting/editing. Submissive can be the opposite of that with more innocent poses and keeping it light. There are no strict guidelines to these roles but it helps to be able to market them a specific way!

b. Body Part Fetish. This usually means focusing on specific areas of your body in your content. This can include "worship" content or commonly-uncommon fetishes like feet!

c. Roleplay/Cosplay. This usually means themed outfits and scenarios.

You don’t have to limit yourself though! Just because you choose a theme does not mean that all your content has to play into it. It just helps make marketing yourself easier so people know what they are getting in to when purchasing a subscription.

2. Sneak Fetish into Regular Content.

Things like body part fetishes are super easy to mix into your regular content. In my first example picture it showcases my feet- but for a subscriber who does not care for feet they still get the view of butt/thigh/leg. In the second example I am sensually showing my armpit. But for someone who may not have an armpit fetish, they still get the view of breasts/face. You can get SO creative with the poses you come up with to incorporate fetish into regular content- take it a step further with your captions ("are my feet dirty?" "Don't mind me smelling my armpits" as examples are casual, keeping it a neutral photo but still draw attention to the fetish aspect.)

You can work the angles of your pictures to look more pose-y while secretly showing off the fetish. This is a great technique because your regular content fans can still enjoy it while also marketing towards more niche interests.

3. Self timer & Angles.

Let's face it- not every picture can be shot by a professional. Set your phone up and turn on the countdown timer plus motion activation! When you don’t have to worry about running back and forth clicking the button it makes posing that much easier. It is also much better to take full body photos without having your phone stuck in your hand. Life hack: You can take short videos if you want more of a casual/off guard look. Just choose the most flattering still from the video (fair warning- this can lower the quality of the image.) When you prop your phone up to take pictures you can get super creative with it! Phones can fit many places humans cannot. Try doing a “hidden camera” theme of you in the shower or changing your clothes “unknowingly”.

Staged Peeping Tom Photo

An easy go-to rule for attractive angles is:

High Angle Example

a. Slightly higher angles are better for the face; especially if you want to give a subtle “blowjob look” with a nice cleavage shot. This helps make the eyes look bigger and the chin look smaller.

Low Angle Example

b. Lower angles are better for the body. They make your butt look bubbly and your waist seem smaller. If done so, this angle can give a fantastic glimpse of underboob.

Keep in mind these angles can play into the “theme” you have- The domination example picture from before uses a lower angle as that is more of a power position. Consider how you edit these pictures, caption them, and the faces you make to help stay in line with your chosen theme a bit better.

4. Subtle Body Tricks.

Ok I know that title sounds weird but hear me out. These are super simple and life changing tips that will enhance any simple picture you take.

a. Whether your feet are in the picture or not, ALWAYS stand on your toes. This will subtly help make your body look more lean and not to mention save you from having flat duck feet in your pictures! Yes, someone is going to notice them (ahem, we just talked about including foot fetish into regular content!)

b. Any picture that includes your face/neck- hold your tongue to the roof of your mouth to get a sharper jawline. Flexing/Raising your eyebrows without giving yourself forehead wrinkles can imitate a natural brow lift/botox look. This should come naturally to you whenever you turn to face your camera!

Thigh Squeeze Example

c. Know what you want to be tight and what you want to be squishy. It’s most common to want to squeeze your abs to appear with a flatter stomach but this tip is about more than that! Use your hands to physically sculpt and squish your body. Grab your butt and thighs to look extra juicy. If you have fans that are into bellies show that some love too! Hands on the hips can make the waist look smaller. The possibilities are practically endless combined with the rest of my tips.

5. Creative vs Casual.

I know what it's like to want a fully polished, professional theme to your pictures. BUT it is still important to throw in casual content occasionally. Your fans want to know you're a real person- not some perfectly photoshopped posed image at all times. This can include no makeup selfies with your boobs out, just about ready for bed or 'just-woke-up-and-I'm-sooo-horny' nudes, cute but lower quality candids, a pet walking into frame, and I even like to include bloopers sometimes of awkward moments from filming or an off-guard pose gone wrong!

6. Have Fun.

The best part about all this is having fun! It truly shows in your content the amount of confidence you have and if you're actually enjoying yourself. If you lack inspiration or are having an off day/week/etc, don't fret.

a. Try asking your fans what their favorite poses are. One time I had someone request a naked handstand!

b. It is super helpful to look at other models for pose inspiration. Make an inspiration board (or be like me and have an album of screenshots in your phone... Same difference) and let it come naturally next time you do a photo session.

You will love getting to be more creative with your content and your fans will thank you for it too! Think of it like turning over a new leaf. You've got this. Have fun and utilize these tips and tricks to create your best content!
